The mission of NAMI North Carolina is to provide support, education, advocacy, and public awareness so that all affected by mental illness can build better lives. CARE Community Advisory Board

The CARE Community Advisory Board (CAB) consists of a dedicated group of community members who aid in the HIV cure process and ensure community input. The CAB works alongside HIV cure researchers involved with CARE, which is the Collaboratory of AIDS Researchers for Eradication. The CARE CAB’s role is to seek out and act on guidance from partners within the communities where we live, work and serve. Community partners include people living with HIV, those uninfected but affected by HIV (partners, family, friends, and community members), HIV advocates, non-governmental organization partners, community leaders and government representatives.
